It comes down to this: I paid $149.99 to Dropship Design for a website upon seeing their online ad at http://dropshipdesign.com.

Payment turned out to be processed by "Payment Processing Company" which is one of the names/many aliases "DropshipDesign" goes by, as evidenced by a search at http://www.google.com/search? Client=safari&rls=en&q=dropshipdesign&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 It's only through this kind of research that I was able to locate samples of the offered website and it's not at all what I expected. Moreover, after extensive searching I did not find their refund policy, so I gues they have none. The number of disenfranchised complaints at usacomplaints.com and scam.com is staggering and even professional reviews read more like warnings. Only after I asked for my money back they emailed that they have set me up, but it looks like it was expedited because of my complaint.

They already misrepresented themselves by not issuing login information and keeping quiet for 5 days after signup, which is very rare in the world of computing and internet, and by not responding to bad press out there they leave me no choice but to get out before I get in, as I am very discouraged at this point. I have not used any of their services as yet as they have not provided any and would like my money back. Wouldn't you?

I first emailed them, saying "I have decided not to go forward with this purchase. Please refund. Thank you."

"Our records indicate that we already completed your website and we sent you an email already (not true, he send it after writing this reply) with instructions on how to change the name servers of your domain name to point to our servers."

The truth is I had not received anything, and was already being sent emails to spend money on SEO services. I had at that point also not received any account information, or setup instructions. I want a refund to which I should be entitled as I have not received anything.

Responding results in "permanent failure: SMTP Error (state 9): 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not local.

So, I have been asking for a refund from the beginning, and opened a dispute with Paypal because dropshipdesign has not responded to that request. However, in another email reminding me to continue my setup process they write "as you know, we have a no refund policy for
the setup fee that you already paid."
How are we as the buying public to know that, as their website does not make mention of it and I have not been informed that there's no common money-back guarantee before taking my money. And that's the
point, they have taken my money and are not refunding it for services I cancelled before they began.
