Poor Product and Shady Policy ripoff

I recently purchased an external USB floppy drive from this company online. I received the product in a timely fashion however it was DOA (dead on arrival). I then looked closer at the product and realized that, although I had requested a specific brand and model number, this product has no identifying marks on it. They had sent me a knock-off!

The company boasts "We back every product with a rock-solid satisfaction guarantee." however when I wrote them an E-mail explaining my situation and asking for them to pick this up and send another they reffered me to their terms&Conditions, and told me to fill out an RMA (which I promptly did).

Would you believe they put in writing "Customers must pay for return shipping on all returns, including DOA products" This phrase was well hidden on their website but it's printed in BOLD on their packing slip.

At this point I noticed that the casing of the product was loose so I opened it up (using nothing but my fingernails, no tools required) and saw the floppy drive itself. It was an old computer drive with dents and scratches which leads me to believe that this previously belonged to a disgrunteled office worker with a baseball bat and that one final E-mail he just couldn't handle.

Eaglebit now states that I will have to pay for the return shipping, I will not be refunded for their shipping, and they will apply a 15% restocking fee.

All this for an unidentifiable product that didn't work in the first place.

I will be giving them one final chance to remedy this situation before they are reported to the better business bureau. However, I did not wait to post this message since they have given me nothing but trouble up to this point.
