HUGE Scam! Charged debit card through the FINE PRINT!

I found a charge for $49.95 on my debit card and called the 800 number listed next to it. They claim I purchased a trial subscription for $1.95 and that the trial period is over and they started charging me monthly. I explained that I wouldn't have knowingly signed up for this subscription and that I did not want it. They very cordially cancelled my subscription; however, when I requested a refund they stated that their rules clearly state they do not refund monthly charges!!!
