Will not refund on non-functional products ripoff

In Aug. Of this year I purchased two products that are manufactured by Netgear, Inc: Netgear 802.11 G cable/DSL wireless router and a Netgear 802.11G 108mpbs super G wirless PC card.

In the process of setting up these products I realized that a key word (not shipped with the product) was needed to make it functional. I started a email request for this product key though their (non-charge for service) customer support dept. After about two weeks of numerous email and phone requests and never recieving the answer for this problem, I gave up. I now had a non-functional product.

I then requested information about returning this product, and as a standard practice of this company, I never recieved a reply.

In Sept. Of this year I sent these products to Netgear, stating the problem I was having. When I phoned them they did confirmed that they did recieve them and that they were testing them.

Fernan Kalaw, customer service mgr. Then contacted me by email and said that the company will not refund money but maybe replace it. I told them that I had already replaced it with workable product and did not need a problem product with no technical support.

As of Dec. 4th, I have not recieved anything.
