Page Computer ripoff Take your money and send no products

I ordered a $600 video card for the new computer I was building on 11-22-06. They charged my credit card less than 12 hours later. On 11-28-06 I made 3 attempts to contact Customer Service online to find out when this item would be shipped, and finally got someone who told me their warehouse was having "inventory issues, " but she could have it shipped from another warehouse and I would receive an email by the morning of 11-29-06 with a tracking number. No email received the next day, so I try to contact online CSR again. Site shows order in PARTIAL (item ready for shipment) but no tracking number.

Second attempt to get CSR is successful, and he tells me the order was cancelled and I was sent an email yesterday to confirm this. He also states that they attempted to call me, but since the only phone I have provided them and own is my cell, which I wear, this was a blatant lie. The email I had them forward to my work address explicitly states, "We have not charged your credit card." My card clearly shows a charge of $607 placed by Page Computers on 11-23-06. This company makes no issue of lying through their teeth about any of their business practices.in fact, a search of their site pulls up a document stating 14 reasons for purchasing from them being their online store ratings (Bizrate.org).

Attempts to rate the store on the sites provided will not allow new reviews. Ironic? Right now I have a computer sitting in my living room with no way to use because this company won't provide the product they took my money for. Reading other review sites show that this company frequently fails to provide a product that was paid for.
