Rebate ripoff! Center closed

The last two or three times I have purchased Espon ink cartridges there have been rebate coupons for $5.00 on the purchase of Epson Photo Quality Ink Jet Paper, Epson Bright White Paper, and Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper.

I finally purchased all three and mailed the rebates to the Mascoutah, IL address indicated on the form. Much to my chagrine, the submissions were returned by the post office "Post Office Box Closed, No Order".

After calling Epson customer service I was informed by the operator that that rebated center had been closed two years ago. Strange that the rebate was for purchases made between November and December if that was the case. I was given another address in Strongsville, OH and re-mailed them today. Another. 39 on a $5 rebate for a total of 15.6% of the amount I should be receiving not to mention two envelopes each and two trips to the post office.

Just another example of making the process so hard that people either don't participate or eventually give up.

I realize that $15 is not a lot of money but having you send a rebate claim to a location that was closed two years ago pretty much amounts to fraud in my book.
