Liqint - P. Parana software ripoff

I bought Windows XP Pro from this company's website, www.liqint.com, sometime in June for $69. The description mentioned that the software can be activated and it was authentic. I further verified with the company whether the software can be activated and supported by Miscrosoft via e-mail - sales@liqint. Citymax.com. The seller (P. Parana?) answered "Yes" to these questions.

Almost immediately after paying for the software by credit card, I got an e-mail stating that they could not process my card but can send the item via USPS COD. To which I agreed.

The wrong item arrived initially. They sent me OneNote 2005. I e-mailed them and told them that the wrong package was sent. They returned an e-mail apologizing and stated that they would send me the right package and told me to keep the wrong software.

When the item finally arrived, after several e-mails asking them for an eta, the package contained a Product Recovery CD-ROM from some company named Coastline Micro on the plastic cover was the activation key. Right away I knew something was wrong. However, just as another consumer stated before, I foolishly decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and try to install, without success.

I tried to contact the seller via e-mail only to learn 3 days later that the web address and website no longer exist. I decided to write a letter to the return address on the package and have gotten no response as of yet.

I also saved all e-mail correspondence with www.liqint.com and printed out the web page stating the authenticity of the Microsoft Windows XP Professional software. I'm also going to contact Microsoft and Coastline Micro and make them aware of the fraud.
