Ripoff, theft by deception, internet fraud California

Internet & Web

On or about July 9 I was on the computer trying to get approved financing for a desktop computer. My credit is not the best so I put bad credit computer financing in the search engine and circuitmicro was one of the names that showed up.

I clicked on the hyperlink and was taken to their site. They greet you with a very attractive slogan, "If we can't approve you it's free." I was then told that there was a 39.00 processing fee for the application.
I filled it out anyway because they said that I would be approved or it's free.

After I filled out the application i was told congratulations i was approved for my computer purchase and that a 10% down payment was required so i authorised that and on July 11th they debited both the processing fee and the down payment from my checking account. I have been trying to contact them by phone and email and get niether an answer by phone or a response by email. Actually, there was an answer once however that person, a man, told me that he was a sales rep and to call back in 45 minutes and someone from customer service would be in to answer my call.

To date (August 1st) I have not heard from this company. The only thing that gives me hope is that they havn't emptied my checking account. If they were totally rotten they would have beat us all for 100% of our accounts. This company must be stopped.
