Paradigm Acceptance Company
Ripoff, cheated, dishonest fraudulent representation and billing without a gun, with words. Is this legal?

I was contacted by phone. Paradigm acceptance said i was approved for credit by them. I called. They said they are a secondary credit company with different criterias 1) you must pay $103.71 down which account for 3 wks. Of the payment. 13 wks. Must be paid before they can ship the computer to me. I asked could i have the paperwork first. They said i would have to pay the $103.71 first for down payment to process my application.

So i gave them the information they needed to get the money out of my checking account. Route # and checking account#. A few days went by they (paradigm acceptance) called me again. They say this is to verify my application. This time i hear about the $103.71 being non-refundable. I said how can that be i didn't sign any agreement. They said when i answered yes it was just like my signature. So i agreed that it should go toward my payment if its non-refundable. But i don't think it should if i cancel the agreement.

I didn't recieve the paperwork for another week. As soon as i read the terms of the agreement i called and cancelled. If i knew exactly what they meant over the phone like i understand whats in writng they wouldn't have gotten my $103.71. Thats why they won't let you see the agreement before you pay down on it. I think they are liars and cheats and the truth is not in there business practice. Something should be done to practice consumers from these consumer predators. Where is the justice? They are making millions from fraudulent representation and ripoffs of honest consumers dollars. The elderly and disabled on fixed income. Are they legally in the right or clever enough to get away with it.
