Ripoff scam dishonest billing charge fradulent

I, like many others, paid $1.95 for shipping for an free ebay book from online supplier. I later recieved a $29.95 charge on my account from them. When I contacted them, they stated in the terms and conditions I agreed to be charged a monthly charge until I canceled. This was not made clear to me, and apperantly not made clear to many otherpeople either. I got online and saw many, many people have been scammed in this mannor. When I talked to the supervisor he restated that this charge cannot be refunded. No matter how much I stressed I was never told I would be charged, he simply said, "That's simply a matter of your opinion." Since I see that many other people have been ripped off by this company, something needs to be done. I will be turning them into the BBB, FTC, and California attorney general's office.
