Ripoff Quick Time Pro does not work as promised they won't refund money QTP problems

I purchased Quick Time Pro because apple.com promised that we can edit our own movies in it and export movies into different formats. So I purchased it for $30.00. First, even if I open one of my own movies in. Mpg. Gp3, or. Avi format, it never lets me edit them. Also, it refuses to open. Avi format. When I try to export my own files into. Mpg. Avi, or DV stream, they are unreadable to my other video editing software. I am very displeased with Apple and have asked several times for a refund. They tell me to write my problem to this discussion forum. I have several times but none of their suggestions work. I have been working with video editing for over two years, so I know it's their program that doesn't work. I want my refund, but I know I'll never see it.
