Ripoff on buying turbo tax program nationwide

I bought a Turbo Tax program, and after completing my taxes it says I now need to pay to efile it. I paid $39.95 for the program and now i must pay $20 to E-file it, plus $15 for state. I decided to return it and get a refund instead. It stated on box if not satisfyed to return for full refund. When i returned it to Wal-Mart they said it was Turbo tax policy to have consumer return it by mail to Turbo_tax. It cost $4.95 by priority mail to send it there. This is a rip-off in my books.
