The e-mail included three attachments: instructions. Doc, agreement. Pdf and faq. Pdf. The agreement was an employment agreement. Before completing anything I did several Internet searches on the company and the individual and they came up empty.

Fast forward to November 5. A web site was set up for my company, xxxxxxxxx, Inc. An Internet merchant account was created. I log into the administrative interface for my merchant account and notice that an individual named Bill McCarthy has tested the system using a charge of $0.05 USD. On November 17, I started receiving piles of orders for $7.95 USD from the web site. I thought this was a bit strange, but I recall reading that these guys specialized in getting traffic to web sites, so I left that alone. It was until November 25 when I got really suspicious when a female called me indicating a charge on her credit card that she had no recollection, then another, following by another.

At this point I started to credit individuals who called me. I also contacted Alexander, who stopped my web site credit card processing (he runs www.xxxxxxxx.com for me). It remains currently closed as I am becoming more and more suspicious to the point of looking up Bill McCarthy and becoming horrified at what he has done to innocent victims like myself who were simply looking for extra income. I can provide copies of all communications with Alexander. I never spoke with Bill McCarthy, who just might be Alexander.
