United Online Web Services Ripoff, Scam and slam of Debit Credit Card fees, outright refusal to rely to issue or refund stolen fees

There are many, many free webhosting companies available that do not engage in the nefarious activities that Freeservers.com does. The thing about Freeservers.com is that once they get your credit/debit card information, they WILL SLAM YOU with illegal charges. Freeservers.com not only slammed my credit card without my permission, which would be bad enough. They did it despite CLEAR ORDERS FROM ME that they were NOT to charge my card!

I personally made the mistake of paying Freeservers.com for a year's subscription for a website that I created for a friend's business a year ago. After realizing that Freeservers.com charged more than twice the amount for webhosting as 95% of the other webhosting companies out there, I quite obviously opted to use another webhost, GoDaddy.com, this year after the year I paid for at Freeservers.com ended. I informed Freeservers.com more than a dozen times a month prior to the end of my year's subscription with them that I DID NOT WANT TO CONTINUE TO USE THEIR SERVICES! Despite that, they kept sending emails trying to con me into continuing to use them. Then, after my MANY continued refusals, they simply billed my account!

I have written them, sending quite literally no less than 50 emails trying to get them to refund my money, and all I get is a senseless form reply. I have had to send an affidavit to initiate a chargeback for my debit card, which will take no telling how long.

Whatever you do, if you do not want to get scammed, ripped off, conned, harassed and slam-billed, then do not use freeservers.com for paid webhosting! If you want to pay for webhosting, go to one of the other reputable webhosts!!
