Cosmic Costumes - CostumeWigsDirect ripoff stole money

In November I placed an internet order on at cosmiccostumes.com. My credit card was charged at the time of the order and I received a confirmation email which said that the order has been received. Two weeks later I did not receive the order so I contacted the company by phone and left a voicemail requesting the status of the order. I followed my voicemail up with an email to the company.

A week went by without a reply to either my voicemail or my email so I decided to try again. This time I received an email which stated that the order was shipped and returned because of an incorrect delivery address. I used my business address for the delivery info. CosmicCostumes claimed that the carrier needed a suite number to deliver. I replied that the address was a business and there are no suite numbers. I provided the full business name along with the address once again and requested that the order be shipped again.

Another week went by with no reply so I called again and received voicemail. I also sent an email. I got another email reply saying that they needed a correct delivery address or the order will not be shipped. Once again I confirmed that the delivery address is correct. I've been getting deliveries at my office for over 20 years and have never had a problem.

CosmicCostumes failed to provide a tracking number for the order. Also, they had my business phone number as well as my home phone and cell phone numbers. They made no attempt to contact me regarding the matter.

Several request for a refund have only resulted in an email reply which states that I can contact the shipper to file a complaint.

I order the items from a different internet shop and the order was shipped and delivered overnight by the same carrier which CosmicCostumes claimed to use. I did most of my Holiday shopping online this year with a total of 22 deliveries and all of them arrived with no problems, with the exception of CosmicCostumes.
