Lies on their Website

I placed an order with martialartssupplies.com. Their home page says, "Buy with Confidence. All orders ship within 1 business day." This is a lie.

I placed my order on Wednesday via their website. I also agreed to pay the outrageous fees for Overnight Shipping but I needed the items immediately. The delivery estimate I was given based on the 1 business day processing and overnight shipping was that Friday.

On Thursday evening I checked my order status to get a tracking number and surprise, surprise the order had not shipped. I used the online customer service inquiry email to submit a question as to why my order hand not yet shipped and explaining that I needed the item by the weekend. On Friday morning I received a reply email that I would receive an email from a customer service representative within 1 business day. I still have not received that email.

I called customer service the next morning and spoke to a very unhelpful, matter of fact, and rude woman. I was informed that they generally ship in 48 hours and generally never ship within 1 business day. I was also told that their website only lists an estimated delivery date so I should not have depended on that. So it also appears that since martialartssupplies.com does not ship within 1 business day, then all of the estimated delivery dates on their website are also lies.

I cancelled my order with customer service that Friday morning when I found out my items would not arrive by the weekend. I also sent customer service an email with to that effect.

I checked my credit card today and they have now billed my credit card even though the status still says that my items have not shipped.

I would not do business with this company. Other than the lies, I would not do business with a company that does not charge your credit card at the time of shipment.
