Lied about outsourcing

I called PeoplePC today in hopes of lowering my internet bill. A woman ("Carol") answered, obvious American. I asked her physical location and it was New Mexico. (NOT San Francisco.)

She offered me a great deal and I signed up. We were joking about outsourcing and how awful it is to try to talk to Eastern Indians. (*Note: not racist, just a realist.*} I asked Carol if the tech support was also located in USA. She assured me it was.

Well, I needed tech support, and you got it, INDIA. The guy didn't understand on the first or second tried everything I told him. When he went through the steps, it was like I was a baby and he a superior adult, holding my hand.

Decided to cancel the offer, called back. Again, INDIA. I have call waiting and since I work from home I told the cancellation guy to please hold while I checked the other call, and he dropped the line.

The strange thing is, is that after I called back again, I got an American, but he didn't understand me either as he asked at least four times the reason why I was cancelling my account. ("Outsourcing was my one and only answer.")

I'll be keeping an eye on my bank account to see it they process anything.
