Ripoff, cheated, stole

I signed my son who lives in Utah up on PeoplePC to have internet connection at his home for his family. The internet worked for 2 months (August 10-October 9) then they took their money out of my account for another month and they no longer could access the internet from their house. Then I emailed PeoplePC tech support and they said to change the access numbers which they did in Utah and STILL wouldn't work! So yesterday they had a tech out to their house to check out their computer. Nothing wrong with their computer and he couldn't get any of the access numbers to work coming from the house. Today is 10-21, yesterday was the 20th and it still wasn't working. I had the kids use our Earthlink account since we weren't using it actively and they could GET access using their access numbers. My daughter in law called PeoplePC and after a 40 minute wait, was told that it was my son's computer NOT them and referred them to a phone number where tech support costs $1.95 a minute!

I emailed PeoplePC yesterday and told them to cancel the account and I was unhappy with their services and to return the money they had taken out of my account for 1 months worth of service. Their service has NOT been used except to email PeoplePC via webmail! If you can't log on, it is of no use to anyone.

I talked to one person, he was nice and cancelled the service but he had to refer me to a supervisor who was RUDE! She was yelling at me that I had to contact them BEFORE the bill goes out to discontinue their service! Well I am not psychic and had NO WAY of knowing that after they took the money out of my account that it would be of no use to anyone! IF something is not being used or can't be used, then there is no reason why they can not return the funds to me that can't be used! She insisted that they are not ripping me off, but they are. She said that they had NO proof that we had called for tech support or emailed them and that is a blatant lie because I have the proof of the email here and I know I called them several times trying to get a PERSON but only got a recording about someone fraudulently sending out emails in their name and then the recording hangs up on me! You can't reach an actual person on the phone numbers that they have on their website and the numbers that they give you. The email that I sent them yesterday bounced back to me as being undeliverable! All I want is my money back and to make sure that they don't rip anyone else off!!
