Ripoff sell broken products as remanufactured misrepresent warranty ebay

The item purchased and advertised on ebay is an LG lst3510a DVD player and sat receiver. It was purchased 5/25 and received within a week or two. It had problems with freeze ups from day one but we thought to make sure it was not an isolated matter so we continued to use it, problems persisted and compounded in that it would fail to play certain discs that play fine on both of our (older) dvd players.

When purchased a 2 year extension to the original 90 day warranty (which was represented as a 90day manufactures warranty but was not it was though tns) was added at additional charge.

I contacted LG initially because it was less than 90 days they stated the item was sold to tns as is and had no warranty at all. I contacted TNS, they stated that it was covered gave an RMA number and the item was shipped back to them on 8/25/05 they said they received it on 9/1.

After a few emails as to what was going on with the unit they shipped out the replacement, I received it and immediately notified them that I had been shipped back the wrong item (inferior product, of course). They acknowledged this and said initially they would ship the correct item out, then said that none were in stock and I would have to wait a week or two for them to get more.

I have called and sent multiple email inquiries regarding this matter only to get new excuses as to why they dont have the item yet, the last one was

"Dear Justin,

Thank you again for your patience. The unit is sent to manufacturer. We will receive the unit in 1 or 2 weeks. (It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks). When we receive the unit we will ship it to you right away. Thank you for your patience again.

Bob Bast"

That was on october 6th, I have not received so much as an email telling me that something else came up and it would take longer. I find this situation unacceptable and have asked for a refund, which there reply is the same, wait longer for the unit to be fixed.
