Yp.com Tricky Rip off technique via Fake Checks Mesa

Be careful not to cash checks from a mailing called www.yp.com. They cant get customers legally so they get them by mailing out fake checks for $3.25 and if you cash them they charge you $27 a month in some fake "internet advertising" yellow pages. Yp.com is a rip off company that uses the phone company data base to send out these checks. They print of the back of the check the "deal" making you liable for the Internet ad.

I hope people dont fall for this, since it is as old as the Nigeran email scam, but people still fall for that and Phishing.

If you get a check from www.yp.com or anyone DO NOT cash it. It is not legit. Looks like besides Rip off report we will sue them.

THey must be so proud that they only get their customers is this way of tricking them. They are basically a no-customer service company getting calls from people who fall for this scam. Of course you will learn the hard way... So thanks to Rip oFf report we will warn people.
