VALLEYALLEY, ripoff, scam operation. Sold magazine subscription, did not process, would not respond to inquiry

Magazinemamma.com took an order for Prevention Magazine from me in June. They billed my credit card the same day in the name of Valleyalley, Inc. The subscription was never processed and they will not respond to inquiries.

When calling the telephone number shown on the Visa statement for Valleyalley, a man answered, acted very nervous and rattled, and hung up on me. There were sounds of children in the background.

Prevention Magazine has checked their orders and says they have received no order for me from a third party.

Magazinemamma.com purports to be a Yahoo store, referencing the Yahoo shopping cart on their site, and including the Yahoo name in the resulting URL when clicking on the shopping cart. However, they cannot be found on Yahoo Shopping with a search, nor do they appear in the Yahoo store listings.

Further, Magazinemamma.com has apparently found a way to insert their name in metafile descriptions of other magazine sites on the internet/Web. If you do a Google search for their name, it will come up scores of times in links to other sites, but, when clicking on any of the sites, there is nothing in the resulting page mentioning their name. I assume their hope is that an individual will see the name, type it in their browser address bar, go there, and order - and be ripped off.
