Ripoff, dishonest advertising, unfair selling practices

I ordered a PC Chips 920LR W/P4 1.5GHz CPU Socket 478 & FAN Combo from them on 11/27/02. I did not realize until today that the two years of constant lockups that I have experienced were because of this businesses unfair business tactics - the bait and switch method.

They decided that they would substitute a Socket 423 motherboard for what was supposed to be a Socket 478 motherboard. They then pre-attached a socket adapter to my motherboard without my approval. (There are many stability issues surrounding the use of these converters).

I hadn't realized the source of my problem until recently - I did not have the tech. Knowledge before. I got suspicious and found that the company was at fault and that countless other people were having the same problems with this company, as well.
