Singer Lazer Vac
Ripoff, fruadulent billing, did not complete online order but card was billed

Internet & Web

I saw an infomercial for the Singer Lazer Vac. Went online to find out how much shipping was. Had to enter credit card information to find out what shipping costs were.

Determined shipping cost and decided it was not worth the money and closed web browser before clicking "submit". I NEVER hit the submit button.

A day later I received an email confirmation for my order. The next business day I called the customer service number 800-716-8667, waited on hold for over an hour. Finally got to speak with someone and was told that my order doesn't exist. Next spoke with a manager, who told me there was nothing she could do because there is no order in their system. Discussion became heated and she hung up on me.

10 days later, my credit card was charged by Singer for the order that never existed in their system. Now I've been calling the customer service number and can't get through.

I will be filing a dispute with my bank. I will also file complaints with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) and the BBB.
