Ripoff warranty

The Regin warranty states it is a full warranty for the first five years, shipping and nominal component price increases excluded. When my air bed started leaking after 4.5 years I contacted them. Becuase it was a slow leak I could not find the problem. However, you could not get through the night without "hitting bottom".

I was given some fix it yourself suggestions, which I was happy to try, but if I wanted a new pump it would cost $159.00. I told them I only paid $400.00 for the complete bed, pump, air mttress, side cushions and matress "jacket" they said it now costs $600.00. This would indicate that almost the entire cost increase was based on the increase in the pump cost.

Hold on, you can go on the web as I type this and my mattress sells for $459.00, free shipping, not the $600.00 I was told on the phone. That is some nominal cost increase where the bed would now be $300.00 if it was for the "nominal cost increase" of $159.00 on the pump.
