On Dec. 7th '04, I won an auction on Ebay from Memoryonly.com for a stick of computer memory. (item #6728117971) Upon recieving this item on the 14th of Dec, I found it to be no good, so I emailed the company informing them, and they replied that I could return it for a replacement stick. They emailed me a RMA and off I returned the stick to them on about the 15th. It got to be a few weeks/through the hoildays and I still had not heard anything back from them, so I re-emailed them on the 10th of Jan.'05 asking them what was going on with the return, and at that time I was told "My replacement was sent out Jan. 4th"

Fine. Then next day I recieve an email informing me that my paypal account was being reimbursed for the cost of the memory.

So I email them once again asking what was going on, and then they start telling me that they determined that the stick was indeed good, and that my machine was not compatable with that certain type of memory, even though it clearly states in there auction ad (which I have a screenshot capture of, btw) that indeed my machine IS compatable with that type of memory. I point this out to them, but it just falls on deaf ears. So, not only am I out the inital cost of the memory ($6.50), but the initial shipping ($10.00) and my return shipping costs ($3.00)

I've tried to negotiate with them and re-buy it without shipping costs, or something along those line, but they just simply do not even reply to any further emails from me, or even Ebays "Square Trade" fraud prevention department.
