Ripoff driver on website doesn't work, 2 years still not fixed!

Every time I need to reinstall the driver it does not work with a usb cable even though the website found my printer on the usb cable and installed the driver for my deskjet 970cxi with usb cable and windows ME os.
It worked with the usb cable before! And nothings wrong with my printer or my computer! The cd that came with the printer did not ever work. Cust. Service was no help just like in all the other complaints!
