Ripoff they are ok until you try to cancel internet

I had the same problem when I tried to cancel 3 of my screen names that I had for years with AOL. I called and spoke to this one guy that I couldn't understand at all. He ended up telling me that I can have it for a month longer for free. I told him so many times that I don't want anymore free months... I want it cancelled.

I just got tired of it and said ok and hung up. So, I called back right after I got off the phone and this lady picked up, my god where on earth do they get these people. I couldn't understand her either. Well, the same thing went on for about 10 minutes and I yelled at her that I don't want anymore free minutes and I want it cancelled, either you cancel it or get your manager on the phone. She said ok, I'll cancel it. So, I thought it would be cancelled... Nope. Not even a week later I recvd a letter in the mail from AOL saying that if I want to cancel to send the paper back signed. I let it slide for a week (just didn't feel like yelling) I called today 2/2/05 and spoke to someone that I could understand and I only had to tell her twice that I wanted to cancel. She offered me the month for free. Then the 4 dollar a month thing. I said no. I just want to cancel. Before we even talked she gave me her e-mail and a confirmation number this time and she said it will cancel by the 6th.
