Dish Network
Service reps lied to me

Internet & Web

I am so disappointed in my internet and the people at dish network who lied to me to get me to sign up for it in the first place. When I was signing up I was told 10gb (the only option available in my area) was a lot of data. The reason for signing up to internet in the first place was so I could update my xbox1 and the games however the other day which was only 5 days in to my second month I had already used up my 10gb and I still do not know what I did that used up all my data I needed to do an update on one of my games which uses 13gb on one update! I could pay the $10 fee per gb to do the update which will cost me twice what I paid for the game itself. I would not have signed up at all had it not been for the service rep lying to me telling me 10gb is a lot. Which I'm finding out that clearly it is not. At this point barely over a month into having the internet service I'm thinking it's more worth it for me to cancel and pay the $700 to break the contract than live with internet that is virtually useless. On a scale of 1-100 this service and their reps scores in the negative digits!!! Stop lying to your customers because your internet is so shitty!!! As far as the cable goes I'm happy with it and there have been no issues
