Miserable in Every Way

I had the misfortune of using Hughes Net for a short spell this year while my father in law was hospitalized in Delaware. My first option was Dish Network but they wanted a two year commitment. When I contacted Hughes I was informed that there were not length of service requirements and I could terminate at any time. I terminated in December and followed the instructions from Hughes to get their equipment back to them properly. This included climbing on a roof and removing their radio transmitter. Another omission by these people. Today I was charged a 384.00 early termination fee. Despite calls to their customer service and speaking to one of the supervisors they intend to follow through on taking this money. These people are liars, dishonest, and basically thieves. Would caution everyone to stay away from this business. Their service is incredibly expensive and loaded with hidden and unspoken charges. Further, their internet speeds are slightly better then dial up but cost me a walloping 80.00 per month. This was a rip off from start to finish.
