Do not give dish network your service!!! We are moving to another apartment complex in the beginning of the month. We have dish network for our service at the old apartment. So we contacted dish to cancel our service. After talking to one of their representative name John. Claimed, his employee number was BV6. He kept us on the phone for hours stating that, Dish can transfer service to the new apartment. We TRIED to tell him the apartment that we are renting to be. Gave us a list of company that we can ONLY get certain services for, in that area. John told us that we should look for another apartment that except DISH network. RIDICULOUS RIGHT? He told us BY LAW, Apartments or houses that has balcony's or patio's can have Dish network, because of the AIR RIGHTS! First of all, the apartment we are renting has NO Patio's or balcony's. SO we don't have to obey by it. And the Apartment Complex doesn't allow it! Then he tried to tell us, that it is our responsibility to talk to the landlord to let us keep the Dish service at our new place. After arguing back and fourth, I demanded to talk to a manager. The manager was a lady, never got her name! She didn't care what we had to say, charged us $70 dollars for an early determination fee, stating we have two more months before our contract was over, plus a one month charge, for the 2 weeks were still at our old apartment. We tried to explain, were not shutting the service by choice. It's because were MOVING Out at the end of the month. She didn't care, after we payed for everything. She told us our service will be SHUTOFF today and she hung up on us, even though we payed for the full month charge, and we still have two more weeks before we move out!!! I will never give dish network my service ever again, or would recommend them to anybody!!!
