Cancellation Fee Charged After Trees Blocked Satellite Signal

My wife and I signed up for dish at our first apartment complex when we first got married because they had a special deal with our complex, a year later we moved from Florida to Mississippi for a job and they were unable to provide service because of large trees located in the back yard of the house we were renting. The Dish technician told us there was nothing he could do and put us on the line to cancel the service. It was not our fault that the service didn't work it was dish's.

Yet they still made us pay a cancelation fee of over $300. Even the Dish TECH said it was unfair and crazy that they do that and if it was him he wouldn't pay it. If the Dish employees are saying it isn't fair so that should be a clear sign how bogus this policy is. When I was talking to Robert from Dish he kept repeating the same line over and over and I finally told him I would never buy dish ever again and I will tell everybody I know to never buy dish either.

He then said nothing and asked after a minute pause if I wanted to cancel. I asked if I could get it reduced and he said the same lines as before, and on top of that they have the nerve to MAKE ME PAY FOR SHIPPING when none of this is my fault!!! DISH needs to make this policy right fast. If someone moves and the service doesn't work then they should not be responsible and the contract should be void.
