Comp-n-parts
Sold defective merchandise advertised as in excellent condition

Internet & Web

I purchased a laptop on ebay from comp-n-parts. It was advertised as in "excellent working condition". I bought it as a Christmas Present, so when it came, I opened the box, insured it was all there and wrapped it up. Week later, Christmas Day, my wife opens it up and is thrilled. Turns it on and the display is all messed up. We checked the bios, changed video drivers, reinstalled windows xp and it did not fix the problem. The laptop is not able to be used. I contacted the seller and told him it was defective, that I would pay for shipping back AND even pay his ebay fees. I asked to either have a refund or I would pay the difference for a working laptop. He emailed me back, was very, very rude and told me I must have dropped it. I have a few of his emails where he has cussed at me and called me every name in the book. I thought I was being as fair as you could be.
Total ripoff... Ruined Christmas.
