Charging credit cards without prior notiification just before the statement closing date Ivyland

Even though I tried to change my billing information electronically using a password, the system would not allow me to do that. I then tried sending an e-mail saying that I did not want to automatically be billed. I was again thrown off and told to call between the hours of 9-5.

Since I can't really do that where I work, I really couldn't. Since the credit cards that were on file with voicenet were expired anyway, I did not think they could bill me. However, they did post charges right before the closing date. No advance notification of this was e-mailed to me. Now they say they will not refund the whole amount and that I have to pay for January. They also told me this was the sixth call today they had gotten about this. $20 isn't much, but I am extremely pissed off that they never gave me a chance to have someone call them and cancel.
