Can't clear mail

Just came out of the hospital after a 3 week stay, i have almost 3000 emails backed up. I'm not even trying to read, just delete them.in the past two hours I have been able to delete about 30, I'm being constantly being booted of the server for being on too long. Check a number of messages to be deleted and after a few minutes am told connection with server is lost, and the messages are still there. There is no way provided to contact these people. This is a free service and is really overpriced, they should be paying people to put up with its poor programing and lack of sufficient servers
