Ripoff, dishonest billing

Do not do business with Matrix Acceptance or or with Lady of America Fitness!

Their contract clearly states that you can be released from your contract if you move from their service area, but there is obviously NO piece of information that is acceptable as proof to get out of the contract.

I have presented a copy of my phone bill in an area where there is no health club within a two-hour driving distance. They even contact me at that number constantly to harass me for money. I have presented them with a copy of the Deed to my new property in an area where there is no health club, and they still persist.

The representative from the company Dennis has hung up on me twice and refuses to let me speak with a supervisor leading me to believe that there is no one in charge of making decisions for the company. I was left with no choice but to cancel the credit card they billed me on.

The company persists in harassment by mail and phone weekly. The employee Dennis stated that until I gave him proof that I had a mortgage on this property that he would not release the contract. He does not believe that a Deed of Trust shows proper proof of a home purchase.

This company continues to ask for personal information in the form of military orders, home purchase prices, account information with other companies, and other pieces of information that should not be released to anyone.

At the same time, I have been a victim of theft of identity. I believe there may be some connection in their use of my social security number and in the identity theft.

Buyer beware—this company has deceptive business practices and is NASTY with its customers.
