Beware of this place! Full of lies and high pressure sales!

Ugggghcccck... Where should I start? I had come into the LA Fitness as part of a mystery shop for my clients and blogs. This place is beautiful and is a wonderful place for a fitness buff. They have state of the art equipment, a small standardized pool, a cycling room, basketball court, and a group class fitness room. Unlike many gyms in the area, i.E. Fitness USA and Bally's, there was no long line or broken equipment to deal with.

However, the manager used his pressure sales to "talk" me into a membership. I agreed of couse and signed up. Now here is the catch. Ty (the manager), promised me a trainer would call me within 24 hours. That was a lie. He told me that someone would be there for my first week. That was a lie. And he told me that my children and my husband could come the next day and that was a lie. He had tried to pressure me to sign them up as well for an additional $80.00 a month!!!

I had written a certified letter to the corporate office to cancel as directed by the secretary/gurarddog. I received an email from corporate office stating that I owed a balance instead of recieving a refund! Wtf! And to mak matters worst, I would have to come in to show the post office receipt to the manager or secretary for them to process my refund. I swear this isn't worth it! Do not waste your time or money. Its gorgeous outside! Go for a walk or jog around your neighborhood for free! This place is HORRIBLE!
