Social Living Credit Card Scam and Theft

I responded to an a listing on social living for a free assessment and two weeks free trial boot camp class for a penny. After I provided my credit card information I was given as assessment at Top Level Fitnesss Naperville Location, and was told that I could schedule two free weeks of boot camp classes. If I canceled before the end of two weeks I would not be charged anything minus the penny.

Well after about the first week I felt the classes did not have enough value. Since they wanted 160 a month for 12 months, and you could go to a real gym for 24 to 70 a month with many more amenities including free group and boot camp classes. So I canceled and followed all of their clerical procedures. The owner Zack told me everything was fine and that I would not be charged for the next month. The company lied, sure enough my card was charged and it showed up on my bill. I am in the process of trying to get my money back through social living or considering taking legal action.

Be aware fly by night companies such as these make a bet to offer you in using third part pay systems like social living, make promises of no charges, and charge you anyway. They are betting that you will forgo the charge and theft instead of pursuing costly legal action. Stay away from this company, I did research and found out that they have already changed their name and location. They used to be called fit body Naperville. Many other s have also had similar experiences and have claimed that their credit card information is collected and sold.
