Will screw you and leave you without medical insurance coverage - most unprofessional experience EVER

Colonial Life talked my boss into health insurance to cover the employees. Everything was supposed to go into effect August 1st. He was instructed by Colonial Life to cancel the existing policy with our old representative from another company. August 1st came and went without our insurance cards. Days and weeks went by without knowing if we had health insurance. We experienced and continue to experience extremely poor communication. Doctor bill are coming in as uninsured and we are not sure if we should cancel existing doctor appointments due to no insurance. Embarrassing to say the least.

After numerous attempts to contact the sales representative, assistant district manager, and the corporate office, I am resorting to this complaint before fielding an aggressive attorney to chase them for punitive damage for our pain and suffering and whatever else a very sharp attorney can figure out with this fiasco. It has been over six weeks of torment - PURE HELL, they are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. They do not return phone calls, screen their phone calls, lie about returning a phone call, and treat people as if they don't really care. It is now September 9th (6 weeks without insurance). The insurance is STILL screwed up.

I am extremely upset and highly motivated to give them tons of free press. Save yourself the frustration and aggrevation!!! Do not do business with colonial life. They WILL screw you. Attn: Colonial Life... Can you hear me now??? If not, I'lll turn up the volume even more.
