Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Bismarck North Dakota

I received a free sample from a company called TrimLife in the early of February. Since I never learned about this company name and I never ordered any sample from this company too, so I didn't pay any attention to this free sample. Actually, I don't need any dietary at all.

On Feb 25, I received a bottle of dietary again from this TrimLife. There is a small piece of brochure claimed that it is a "Autoship Program" and they will continue to send me the dietary pills every month until I call them to stop. At the same time, I found that my VISA credit card was charged USD38.94 on Feb 20 by this TrimLife company.

So, I call the customer service of my credit card banker in the morning of Feb 26 about this unauthorized transaction. I told them I didn't place any phone order, mail order or internet order to this company, I and my wife never contact this TrimLife company before. How can they charge me USD38.94 to my credit card? How can they get my credit card number? How can they get my address? I must refuse to pay USD38.94 to this TrimLife and it is an unrecognized and unauthorized transaction for me. And, the credit centre promised to investigate this transaction and will let me know the outcome by letter in next seven days. And they recommend me to contact this TrimLife comapny to verify this purchase too.

So I call the phone number 1-888-829-2430 which I got from the brochure as soon as I can. I talk to a lady with an unfriendly voice. I complain about this unauthorized order and I refuse to pay the money. She asks me to ship the bottle of dietary back to them otherwise they will still charge me USD38.94. And, she asks for my credit card number so they can credit the amount to my credit card.

I also ask her how they can get my name, address and credit card information. She gives me NO answer. She tells me the order was placed through the internet by someone. She gives me a name and an email-address which I never known. I don't know that name she mentioned. And, she said that the shipping address and billing address are both correct, so they ship the dietary and charge me the money. Since they promise to refund all amount to my credit card, I will let everyone know about the outcome next couple weeks.

Anyway, I try to learn more about this company through the internet. I find a lot of complaint about this TrimLife company from the consumer complaints. And, for my case, I think someone stealing my personal information to perform the unauthorized transaction. I would like to remind all the credit card holders paying attention to your credit card statement carefully each month to make sure what you pay. Also, I would like everyone to share my experience and find the best way to fight against such dishonest company.
