TrimLife Ripoff Trim Life Don't fall for this scam!

I ordered a "free trial" of TrimLife on April 25. They charge you $5.95 for shipping/handling when it comes in an envelope that costs less than $1.00 to ship. They take your credit card info and then use it to charge you for an automatic shipment in 14 days. It takes about a week to get you in the first place.

The product did absolutely NOTHING for me. They say "in 5-7 days most people are experiencing noticeable inches lost and seeing the numbers on their scale going down" and "It's not uncommon to lose up to 10 pounds within a week's period of time." I followed the instructions and didn't lose ANY weight—not even a pound. I didn't even see an increase in energy levels as they claim you notice within 45 minutes.

My order was placed on a Sunday so it couldn't have been shipped out at least until Monday. On Sunday May 8, 14 days following the order I went on their website to cancel.in order to contact customer service via email you had to create an account which I didn't want to do so I called the number. Of course they were not open so I figured I would call on Monday. After all, Sunday is not a business day and they couldn't ship out until Monday.

When I called the customer service rep told me that a shipment was already sent out that morning. When I voiced my concerns about the number not being available on Sunday her response was that I could have went to the website and I could have cancelled any time within those 14 days. Well... When it takes a week for the product to arrive and it's a 7 day supply that doesn't give you much time to call in. I wanted to give the product a chance and see if it worked before I cancelled. While I was talking she interuptted to say the "thanks for calling" garbage and hung up on me! I didn't become beligerant or even yell at her.

Being outraged I called back to speak to a manager only to find out that "Steph" (the person I spoke to) WAS the customer service manager and there was no one else to speak to above her. I had never experienced worse customer service and couldn't believe she was the customer service supervisor!

I asked to speak to her again and eventually did. I told her how upset I was that she hung up on me. She continued to argue with me. When I asked her for the name of the owner of the company she would not give me the information. She said that she didn't know the contact information and that I could try to look it up "on my own."

This company is running a scam and they are well aware of it! It's obvious in the way that they run their business with a complete lack of customer service. Of course she said that there is a 30-day satisfaction guarantee MINUS the shipping and handling fee. I knew that the shipping fee would be highly exaggerated so I asked how much it was and I was right. It is $8.95. What a complete rip-off!

If TrimLife weren't running a scam they would refund the full amount because their business would be sustained by loyal customers paying for a product that worked. But this is how they make their money—by running a shoddy business ripping people off. Please don't get ripped off like I did! Please pass on to all of your friends and family as well!
