My Grandmother is a resident at Shawnee Gardens. I have been there often to visit her. Although I believe the nurses take wonderful care of her and the food is pretty good for a nursing home, i always leave disturbed. The dietary manager Mojay constantly harasses her employes. She hovers over them as they serve and mentions her "whip" as a tactic to scar them. I hear the aids complain about her craziness. I feel bad for the employees that put up with this. She reminds them of there "worthlessness" and how terrible they are. I was deeply sadden when I actually tried to talk to an employee one day after being yelled at. She had to be the sweetest girl I have ever met which made my heart break when she told me that Mojay blamed her for chaos and told her she needed to find to employees because she was "stupid." I need this problem to be fixed because I can't go there seeing this mistreatment anymore.
