True Botanica
No follow up after order placed. I cancelled order, confirmed cancellation with their company in live phone contact and written email. 2 weeks later they sent and billed cancelled order and did not a Sharon Hill

Placed order with True Botanica on Dec 1. Received confirmation receipt same day. 2 weeks later, no product and no communication from True Botanica.

Sent e-mail cancelling order to their site. Received phone call from True Botanica employee Alyssa asking for cancellation explanation. She then contacted shipping dept and reported to me that the ordered product was on backorder and that shipping should have notified me. They did not. Alyssa investigated and believed that shipping had indeed sent backorder notice on Dec 2. This notice not received and I did question validity of this report but couldn't rule out such possibility. Follow-up email made by Alyssa from shipping dept email address was received, so spam block unlikely to have been involved.

Cancellation of order confirmed with Alyssa during telephone contact and I did urge her to make sure shipping absolutely knew of cancellation which had been given in written email and verbally, with stated recognition of cancellation message by True Botanica. Still, 2 weeks later, almost one month after initial placement of order, the cancelled order arrived to my home and they billed my credit card. The e-mail I sent to main site and to employee Alyssa's mailbox was not replied to. The company has made no response. Here is a copy of the email I sent them:

Alyssa,
Today I received 4 bottles of boswellia. This was the order I canceled, in writing, 2 weeks ago and then followed up that cancellation by confirming receipt of cancellation with you when we spoke on the telephone. I honestly can't believe this. This order was canceled. Cancellation of order was confirmed by your company. Yet here I sit with a box of 4 boswellia bottles and a paid bill of 133.14 that NEVER should have gone out to my credit card. I know many 'buying online' cautions exist, but in over a decade of doing so this is the first time I have dealt with this level of inefficiency. Perhaps I have been scammed.
