Collection Agency trying to collect on already paid hospital bill

Lovelac Hospital in Albuquerque, NM failed to bill hundreds of patients in a timely manner. Two years later when most of us thought our accounts were clear, we started getting calls from this collection agency. I responded with a letter to the agency and began inquiries with my insurance company and the hospital. Even though Linebarger knew I was doing research they continued with harrasing calls and letters. I finally contacted the Attorney General's office for help. The assure me I could pay what was owed on the account (that insurance didn't cover) directly to Lovelace, which has been done.
I am still receiving nasty phone calls from this company and they refuse to contact Lovelace to confirm my cleared account. I will be contacting the Attorney Genral again.
