Argus Dental Health Plan
Ripped off my money, won't return it!

Heard a radio ad about a Dental Plan that sounded to good to be true. Called and signed up, they debited my checking acct. $109.95, promising a dental office in my town.

Received my card and info, NO dental office in my town, called the 800 number and canceled my membership, sent the cards like asked, was told it would take anywher from 10 to 30 days for a refund.

I waited over a month and called back, was to told a call center had taken over the week before, and my refund hadn't been submitted, she would submit it.

Waited another month, called back and was told it was sent to the finance dept. And would take 6 weeks, it had already been 6 weeks. Asked for a supervisor, was told they weren't there.

Called back 10, sometimes twice a day and once three times a day for 6 days, on the 10th day finally talked with a supervisor, they said they were a call center, and everytime that I had called it was entered into the computer and Argus would get it the next day. They said there wasn't much they could do and would resubmit it. They gave me a corparate address in Bensonville IL.

Called back a month later and they looked on the computer and said it had been submitted 9 times. I still haven't received a refund. When I call the number recently all I get is a busy signal or it says they are working on the line because of noise.

The call center is in Margate, Florida and the address on the envelope was from Jacksonville, Florida.

This all started when they debitted my checking account on March 30. That was three years ago. All I want is my money back.
