Free sample cost me over $100.00

I sent for a free sample of Colnx, paid the $3.95 shipping and handling, received the product. I did not open it. I then find a charge on my account for $89.89. I called to find out why, it is only free if you do not use it and you call to cancel within a certain time period. If you keep the product you pay for it.in the meantime I get a second package.

I asked how to send the product back as I had not used it, she said you have to have the RMA number on the package, they emailed that to me. I mailed from the post office as refused. I also mailed the second unopened package back the same way. I have proof of everything.

I then called when I tracked the package and saw that they had indeed received it. I was told that one of the packages was refused because of the RMA number on the package, that I was told to use. I let her know that it was not refused, had proof to that effect and that I wanted to know when I would receive my refund, she said 2-4 weeks. I waited, and then called again, this time I was told 5-8 weeks for the refund.

This all started on the 8th of November and it is almost Christmas, and still no refund. I don't feel that this is a company that has standards or that values customer service. I will get my $89.89 back if I have to hire an attorney. Will I spend more than I did on the product? Yes I will, but it is the principle of the matter for me.

I have learned not to give a credit card number for anything that says free!
