Much later I found the cosmetic procedure was not considered safe by the FDA and other government agencies. I decided to have the cosmetic procedure done since I was told I would look better by the nurse. I got the cosmetic procedure done at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic. I waited a few weeks I had no results. I called and the personnel told me at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic to wait additional weeks to see results. After many weeks of waiting I decided that I was not satisfied. Since many weeks had lapsed I tried to get my money back from the credit card company but too many weeks had lapsed. The receipt from the clinic had printed money back guarantee. I decided to return to La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic and ask for my money back. They told me that was not possible. I repeated asked for my money back since I was not satisfied with their service. Repeatably i was told no.

After months of additional waiting I made further complaints to state offices and other large well known non profit consumer watch dogs. Each place I went to they were no help. Mostly they would take the information and that was it.

I do have to say I was one of the lucky ones since the cosmetic procedure later was reported on 60 minutes as having side effects. I did not get the side effects. But I could not sue La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic because they made me sign a document stating I could not sue them.in order to get the cosmetic procedure done I had to sign the document.
