Membership Ripoff and unauthorized deduction of money and not returned

Golds Gym in Nashua and ABC Financial made unauthorized bank deductions to my account and have kept the money and will not return it. I cancelled my membership and paid the money in cash to close my account. They would not close my account immediately but instead demanded I make the next two months payments because they said they are not able to cancel membership that day due to their computer banking system.

After paying the money in cash and walking away with a receipt, they deducted they money from my bank account and will not return it. The Regional Manager demanded that I provide them with my personal bank account statement to show the deduction even though they could see it on their computer under my membership account. They stole my money. And did so after indicating that no money would be deducted from my account again as I paid in cash. I originally cancelled my membership last year however it was put into their system as a freeze and would not allow me to cancel but instead forced me to go through the cancellation process again and causing me to spend more money.

Go to a different gym for less money and the same features or better. There are some great gyms in the area for much less money, small or zero application fee and great features.
