Ripoff, unauthorized account deduction, failure to refund after a certain period

This company deducted $159.95 from my account in dec. 2003. This was an unauthorized deduction. I was not made aware of the transaction.
When I called, they said they were not able to give me a full refund because apparently I have been a member since september. They claim that they send $4checks to you and upon signing it, you enter a trial period. If you do not respond within 30 days you are assumed to be wanting membership and hence they deduct the membership fee.
May I enlighten you that this deduction for the membership fee was not made until about october/november. I took the money could refund me and had everything cancelled.
Again, in January they deducted the same amount of money from my account. Again the transaction was not authorized. Checks for bills bounce as a result and so I had all these overdraft and returned check fees to pay.
Angrily I called them and demanded a full refund plus compensation for all those overdraft expenses because I refuse to pay them. I did get my full refund, but I am yet to get the other expenses covered. They said I had to fax over a copy of bank statement to the supervisor to handle this. It has been a month now and no compensation.
I called several times and they say it is still being processed. I will not settle for anything less than full compensation for these expenses that were not my fault, so they will be hearing from me. They pulled this earlier, I had to suffer the expense of bank overdraft and not getting a full refund for the membership fee they deducted.
I am a struggling college student. I can barely make ends meet and I will not have this!!! This company is a FRAUD!!!
