Pfizer

Health & Medicine

Pfizer advertises that during these tough economic times it has available programs to give free or discounted medications to patients who have been taking their medications for more than 3 months. When i had my prscription fpr lipitor filled today it cost me $349 so called them for help. None of their programs are available to me because the little pension i receive is too much for any of their programs. My incone is in the range of 22k per year and their cut off is 21k per year. Of my income more than one half is utilized for medical espenses. Pfsizer will only consider gross income. Yhey advertise to make themselves look compassionate but when it comes down to reality their patient assistance programs are simply scams. It makes no sense whasover to not consider medical expenses as an offset in using their needs determination formula.
