Adam Cox Contract Filled Out After I Signed, Cannot Cancel, Misleading Sales Rep/Manage

Health & Medicine

I was told I was signing up for a month to month agreement that I could cancel at any time for no additional fees in October for 49.99 a month. The contract was not entirely filled out when I signed this agreement. I later saw that my account was being charged month and that I had been misled when I signed up. I called and was told I could cancel online at their website. I agreed to cancel, was sent a confirmation and thought that was that. That was in January. This past month, I was sent an email saying that I was being charged a fee for having no money in my account from ASF, the banking company used by TanMan. I tried to call but the email was sent 5 minutes past their closing time. I sent an e-mail. I called Adam Cox, the owner of TanMan, who signed me up for the account and told me to cancel online. He said that I could only cancel online if I had a month to month, which I thought I had signed up for (according to his sales pitch I had, but the contract stated otherwise). ASF also says I owe them 1500 dollars, inexplicably. Adam Cox is a fast talker and does not answer any questions truthfully. There have been investigative reports done on him with FoxNewsLA, the LA Consumer Affairs Report and the Better Business Bureau gives them an F report.
